Growing up in Houston, Texas I first started cutting hair at 14 years old. I developed a passion of transforming men through fresh haircuts to look and feel their best. After attending college at University of Houston, I decided to take up barbering as a full time career.

I graduated Barber College and worked at a few barbershops before moving to Los Angeles in 2011. I was able to build my clientele in the DTLA community freelancing and now I’m proud to open Mandatory Barber Lounge. Being a father of 2 sons, I want to provide a safe place for men and young men to get groomed and learn the morals and integrity of being a real man.

Women are also welcome to come get clipper haircuts and enjoy the good conversations. Come relax and escape from the everyday grind. Walk out looking and feeling like a brand new person. Staying well-groomed is MANDATORY!!
